Europatitan eastwoodi - Oterillo II site, Salas de los Infantes

Winning illustration of the second prize 🏆 of the International Contest for Scientific Illustrations of Dinosaurs 2022 carried out by the Castilla y León Dinosaur Foundation and the Dinosaur Museum in Salas de los Infantes, Burgos.

Paleoenvironmental reconstruction of the Sierra de la Demanda region, during the middle #Cretaceous (125 mya ago), where the sauropod dinosaur #Europatitan eastwoodi can be seen in the center of the work, on the left in the sky a couple of #Ornithocheridae indet and to the bottom left a small #Hypsilophodon. The paleoflora of the illustration is composed of ferns, various types of gymnosperms.
